Suspended ceilings, also known as the false ceilings, are easy to install and dismantle. They have many advantages which have increased their popularity in both residences and commercial areas.
• The suspended ceiling can be installed in any place or easily. It decreases the vertical height of the room which in turn helps the air-conditioning system to perform more effectively.
• It hides all the ducts, piping and wiring which otherwise become eye sores.
• The suspended ceilings are made by using fire proof tiles which help in preventing fire accidents and loss of goods and life.
• It reduces noise to a great extent.
• The suspended ceilings can be dismantled easily if there is any repair needed for the ducts or the pipes. In conventional ceiling this may become an expensive proposition as the ceiling has to be broken and then re-constructed.
• One of the disadvantages of the suspended ceiling is that it reduces the vertical area of your room which can cause limitation in stores where vertical display is made or for room with already low ceilings.
